Michael Jackson's iconic performances and costumes will be remembered for a life time. Michael Jackson kept the public interested with his over the top fashion wardrobe and luxurious lifestyle. Throughout each decade, Michael's sense of style changed, but one fashion staple stayed throughout his career, and that was the classic military jacket. It was in the 90s, when his theatrical edgy style graced the stage. Sophisticated suits became his obsession, with the addition with his his trademark armbands and other military inspired accessories. Embellished jackets became his classic uniform. Festooned with gold braiding, brass buttons, epaulets, each jacket being more elaborate than the next. The military jacket became a trend statement that lasted throughout the decades.
The glitz and glamour is credited to designers Michael Bush and Dennis Tompkins who designed most of Jackson's personal and concert tour wardrobes, which included tens of thousands of pieces, many with military details. The Personal Property of Michael Jackson was auctioned in April of 09, and was conducted by Julien’s Auctions In Los Angeles. Jackson has forever left his stamp on fashion and he will always be remembered.

Michael was and is such a fresh, gentle breeze on a summer afternoon. My heart aches at the “oxymoronic” thought of such a large life being stilled by the grave—physically. Spiritually, Michael is more alive than he has ever been before. michals jacksons sense of fashion was alway way before his time his clothes was way cooler thn any celeb at his time 70s,80s,90s and even in the 2000. nowa days everyone copies him all the celebs tryin to get da distinctive MJ look. MJ didnt need another person to copy he was the best of the best. dont forget his music, dance and what a nice person he was
